Overview
We are currently seeking a resourceful, self-motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with the ability to provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele. Applications for this position are primarily sought for Pittsburgh, PA; Camp Hill, PA; Baltimore, MD and Annapolis, MD, but are also being accepted for B&Lās other office locations in New York. The position offers excellent career growth and advancement potential for the selected individual. Responsibilities
Provide high-level electrical engineering services for municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects. Collaborate with project teams, including architects and other engineers, to develop integrated and well-coordinated design solutions. Design and manage projects ranging from small to large scale, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes. Qualifications
B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10-15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience. Strong analytical abilities and capability to design and manage projects across electrical building and power distribution systems. Specific Areas Of Expertise
Electrical service entrances Medium voltage power equipment Power distribution Electrical studies Emergency power Lighting design Alarm systems Telecommunications and industrial process related electrical Additional Qualifications
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in NY, PA or MD (or eligibility to obtain). Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP are a plus. Strong communication and writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit; familiarity with IEEE, NFPA, and state building codes. Ability to mentor junior staff and assist with proposal development. Compensation
Estimated Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials. About Barton & Loguidice
