Job Summary The Pathologist's Assistant will have responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Surgical Pathology Gross Room and associated activities at the Community Campus. Will be responsible for all activities in the absence of the Pathologist's Assistant Supervisor. The Pathologist's Assistant will organize, plan, delegate, implement, and participate as needed in completing tasks in consultation with the Supervisor, Department Managers, and Section Medical Director. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Health Sciences from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologist's Assistant training program and ASCP (or eligible) required. Must meet current NYS Department of Health and Education Department licensing requirements for Pathologists Assistant. Preferred Qualifications Work Days: Flexible days (up to 16 hours per week).
