See ~1500 patients per year. 29 beds 1 OR suite Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of LDRP exp Will you accept a first-time traveler? No GYN surgical – commonly seen: hysterectomy RN: Acuity based CNA: 1-3 per shift, 1 is usually a ST RN: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP – Required Patient types / common diagnoses
LDRP – common high-risk diagnoses seen: PPH, Diabetics requiring insulin gtts, PROM, placenta previa, etc. GYN surgical – commonly seen: hysterectomy Patient ratios
RN: Acuity based CNA: 1-3 per shift, 1 is usually a ST Qualifications
RN: BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP – Required NCC-EFM or RNC-OB preferred. Skills
Skills required: Must have the skillset to work LDRP RN: Experience with the all aspects of LDRP patient care, circulating c-sections, experience with newborn care to include heel sticks, 24 hr testing, NAS scoring, lactation support Department support
OB Tech – 1 per shift CAN/ST – 1-3 per shift Receptionist/HUC – patient registration, visitor mgmt. and unit secretary duties Charge nurse Case Manager RT 24/7 Hospitalist or OB Physician, 24/7 OB Physicians – 2 OB practices Pediatrician Lactation Consultants No remote Tele Monitoring Technology / Equipment
EMR: EPIC IV Pump: Alaris Med dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Phillips GE Corometrics Fetal Monitors; GE Panda Warmer Floating
Within region and scope of practice; will be required to float to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable Region 1 facilities
Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (peds only) — could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) Scheduling
RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Other notes
