Overview
Job Summary: NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and 2 years clinical lab experience required. Excellent computer skills required. Candidates with no clinical lab experience or with a NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary. Candidates with a BS degree in Natural Sciences may be considered for a commensurate title and salary; these applicants must apply for a restricted license and complete a 1 year training program in Flow Cytometry. Ability to distinguish colors required. Minimum Qualifications
Lymphocyte subset analysis, stem cell analysis and leukemia/lymphoma analysis in flow cytometry laboratory. Maintenance and quality control. Perform new test development. Teach Medical Technology students, CP residents and fellows. Preferred Qualifications
Flow Cytometry experience preferred. Work Days
Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30, rotating weekends and holidays plus on-call responsibilities. Message To Applicants
