Gorgeous and well known community health center located in Lower Manhattan is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Practitioner (ANP or FNP) to join their dynamic team. This position comes with a very competitive salary and benefits package. Job Title

Salary: $135,000 - $160,000 FSLA Status
Exempt Job Duties And Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive medical care to a panel of adult patients on a continuing basis including but not limited to: Evaluation and management of acute and chronic medical conditions Initial assessment and management of mental health conditions e.g. depression and anxiety disorders Ordering and analyzing necessary diagnostic tests using high value care principles and EBM to inform clinical decision-making Prescribing appropriate treatment and/or medication in an evidence-based manner and within the scope of licensure Advising patients on treatment recommendations, lifestyle modifications, and age-appropriate preventive screenings Referring patients for consultant services when necessary Engage in health promotion activities and recruitment efforts for the site Maintain accurate and detailed medical records about each patient, including observations during examinations Complete EMR documentation, billing, and patient-related paperwork in a timely manner Comfort working with diverse populations including recent immigrants to the United States Participate in night and weekend call shared among clinicians Collaborate with multidisciplinary team Attend and participate in clinic, provider, and all staff meetings Participate in pre-visit planning activities with the other members of the care team Participate in center wide and clinic-specific quality improvement projects and peer review Participate in appropriate certification/maintenance of certification and continuing education activities Maintain updated license and DEA Work continually to assure deliverance of quality clinical care in a safe, efficient, competent, and effective manner Comply with all laws applicable to the practice of your specialty including HIPAA and mandated reporting Perform other duties as required or assigned Qualifications
Master's Degree, specifically MSN (Master of Science in Nursing), Doctoral Degree, specifically DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) or equivalent Successful completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult Nurse Practitioner Current and valid NYS license Current DEA certificate Updated BLS and infection control certificate Employment Details
