Your Everyday
- Take the lead: prioritize, coordinate, and delegate care activities for your patients. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure proper patient care. - Maintain a safe environment for everyone. - Monitor and communicate with patients, families, and care team members about significant events or concerns. - Prevent and treat wounds. - Ensure compliance with infection control and environment of care standards. - Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, clear communication, and an exceptional patient experience. - Consult with supervisors when unable to complete tasks safely or effectively. - Educate patients and families using appropriate resources and care services. - Support team members proactively.
The Must-Haves
- Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana, as per the Louisiana State Board of Nursing. - Current American Heart Association BLS certification. - Current PALs certification.
