Responsibilities Europastry is hiring a detail-oriented
Quality Control Inspector
to ensure bread products meet quality standards on the production line. The role involves inspecting product dimensions, weight, and appearance using tools and visual guides, documenting defects, and collaborating with production teams to maintain food safety and quality.
Conduct quality checks on bread products using tools such as rulers, calipers, scales, and templates.
Evaluate bread color and dimensions using standardized product charts.
Document and analyze defective product weights to identify root causes.
Collaborate with Packaging Supervisors and QA Inspectors to provide feedback to Line Operators.
Rotate between conveyor and packaging areas to maintain quality oversight.
Report any production issues or quality concerns to supervisors.
Participate in safety, production, and departmental meetings.
Support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Food Safety & Compliance
Follow all GMPs, OSHA lock-out/tag-out procedures, and company safety policies.
Understand and apply SQF code requirements and food safety best practices.
Complete mandatory food safety training provided by qualified staff.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Basic math and measurement skills.
