Line Service Shift Supervisor

$22.00/hr - $26.00/hr Responsibilities
Provide clear, concise supervision and facilitate performance of Line Service personnel on their assigned shift. Ensure all shift operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures. Accountable for ensuring high levels of safety and customer service. Adhere to the principles of the “Atlantic Attitude” at all times and ensure those principles are consistently practiced by all shift members. Function as a Line Service Technician as necessary. Communicate work progress and significant issues with the Line Manager or the Operations Manager. Communicate Atlantic standards and relevant material to Line Service employees on their shift. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include (but Not Limited To)
Ensure proper staffing and delegate work assignments for all Line Service Technicians on the assigned shift. Enforce company policy and procedures where a Line Service Manager is not present; administer disciplinary action as directed by the Operations Manager and General Manager. Provide employees with honest communication regarding performance expectations, including areas of strength and needed development. Monitor and update daily aircraft arrivals and departure requirements; ensure timely service that exceeds customer expectations. Interface with customers to ensure all servicing requirements are met and customers are satisfied with the service. Resolve customer service issues and communicate issues to the appropriate staff. Inspect the facility for cleanliness and proper equipment operation; report discrepancies to the Line Manager or Operations Supervisor. Monitor and maintain proper fuel inventory at the storage facility. Perform and adhere to all recognized quality control standards including ATA 103 and NFPA 407. Keep fueling equipment and courtesy cars in presentable condition. Daily quality assurance and accuracy of paperwork and auditing of fuel paperwork. Perform any additional duties assigned by Management for the location. Required Skills and Qualifications
High school graduation. One (1) year of line service experience. Valid state driver’s license and meet the company’s insurability requirements. At least 18 years of age. NATA Certification. Good communication skills, both written and oral. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to comprehend and perform basic math calculations with minimal errors. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent customer relations skills. Flexible work schedule including potential overtime, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements. Preferred and Working Conditions
Experience with aviation ground handling services is very much desired. The company provides a thorough training program to ensure safety and customer service standards are met. The position requires work in all weather conditions and a flexible schedule, as the operation runs 24 hours a day. Working Conditions
The work environment may include moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, outdoor conditions, noise, and exposure to aviation fuels and other chemicals. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Physical Requirements
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; stand and walk. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include near, far, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
