General Job Description: The Senior Project Manager is expected to develop and maintain a client base, manage HVAC/Plumbing/process sales, and oversee field labor needs for each project in collaboration with field leadership. They will use judgment and discretion in representing the company and are expected to demonstrate a high level of commitment and involvement with their work and the company’s business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager is the primary point of responsibility to both ACCO and the customer.

Perform all project management functions required to promote and finalize sales, including concept engineering, estimates, proposals, meetings, and ensuring successful project completion.

Manage contracts effectively, including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution.

Oversee field labor and installation sequencing between the customer and ACCO’s field leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Project Management

Serve as the single source of responsibility to ACCO and the client.

Complete all project management functions to promote and finalize sales, including engineering, estimates, proposals, and meetings.

Manage contracts related to sales, estimates, procurement, and execution.

Oversee field labor and installation sequencing.

Financial Management

Forecast, budget, and control costs within limits.

Prepare and manage letters, proposals, contracts, change orders, and strategies for legal protection and good business practices.

Maintain understanding of job costs during billing.

Relationship Building

Lead external client meetings and develop contracts to close sales. Maintain cordial relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

Coordinate internally with departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, and Construction.

Contribute to studies and committees to enhance technical capabilities.

Communication

Consult with management and department heads.

Attend project management, sales, and construction meetings.

Coordinate pre-construction meetings.

Utilize internal resources and staff effectively to meet customer needs.

Mentor staff and support recruitment and training efforts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

10+ years of experience in HVAC project estimation, design, or management for projects ranging from $50,000 to over $100 million.

Ability to work independently and demonstrate integrity.

Experience in developing new business.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with business systems software is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision.

Stand, walk, sit, and use hands frequently; climb or balance occasionally.

Possess a valid Class C driver’s license and ability to drive.

Maintain regular attendance.

Typical Hours Monday to Friday, starting as early as 6:00 am and ending at 7:00 pm.

Travel Based on business needs, including travel to regional offices and job sites.

Compensation Annual salary ranges from $117,000 to $193,500, based on skills, experience, certifications, and location.
