Job Overview As a Customer Experience Colleague, you will create exceptional, personalized shopping experiences for our customers. You will prioritize customer satisfaction by actively engaging with shoppers across all touchpoints—both in-store and online—and drive cross-category sales to support overall business goals. With a deep understanding of fashion, fit, and function, you will make tailored product recommendations and leverage digital tools to enhance the customer journey. You will work across different departments daily, often transitioning between multiple areas throughout the day.
You will also contribute to client relationship building through outreach tools like My Client and social media. Your collaborative approach with peers, store leaders, and brand partners will help identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and elevate the overall customer experience. In addition to service and selling, you will support operational excellence through floor readiness, event execution, merchandise setup, and opening/closing procedures.
A positive, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-caliber service are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
Begin each day energized and ready to make an impact; greet teammates, keep the sales floor clean and organized, review sales goals, and stay informed on new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions to engage, educate, and sell with confidence.
On the floor, focus on the customer by offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships and encourage return visits.
Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
Finish Strong by sharing loyalty benefits, ensuring customers have what they need, and closing with a sincere thank-you, often using the customer’s name.
Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
Strive for excellence as a journey, take pride in work, meet sales goals, and learn from others to deliver store results.
Who You Are
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Must be able to: understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors; read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
Meeting daily sales goal challenges
Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
Resourceful and eager to start a new venture; can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
You can handle electronic devices with no problem
At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred
Essential Physical Requirements You Will Perform
This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching (including above eye level)
Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process transactions
