$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr Responsibilities
Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups, required cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening back door of store for deliveries. Completes product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provides change as requested to cash registers. Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Operations
Holds store keys to open and close without management as necessary. Coaches team members in warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries. Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids. Supports order review, reverse logistics, displays development, and resets. Maintains inventory accuracy across basic departments, stockroom, and overstock locations. Follows the Outdate program with team members; performs basic department pricing and ensures proper signage; completes regulatory pricing tasks as required. Assists with bookkeeping activities (cash report, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payment) as necessary. Maintains store cleanliness and appearance and coordinates repairs as needed in the absence of management. Ensures proper product placement and stock rotation, including raw foods handling where applicable, and restocks accordingly. Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment; assists at Pharmacy out window as requested; ensures compliance with state and local laws for regulated products. Conducts bag checks of team members; maintains respectful relationships with coworkers; completes special assignments as needed. Training & Personal Development
Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager. Communications
Serves as a liaison between management and non-management staff by communicating assigned tasks when store management is not present. Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience. Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of store inventory control. We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
