Senior Business Manager- Enterprise Supplier Management As a Senior Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. Capital One spends over $10B annually, and the Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) organization is critical to managing the impact, risk, and cost savings associated with all of it. The Business Analysis team within ESM will drive strategy, insights and analytics, while transforming talent, influencing technology investments, assessing risk, and growing diverse supplier pools. You will work with experts in sourcing and operations and have a leadership role to promote continuous learning and reward innovation. In this role, you will help shape the strategic direction of ESM, collaborate with Data and Financial Analyst teams, and work with key stakeholders across the organization to help achieve top priorities. You will also have the opportunity to envision and create the first Business Analysis function within the ESM organization and coach others to achieve their personal and professional goals. Responsibilities

Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior Business ownership: Have an ownership mindset, and potentially P&L accountability for a business segment. Strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon Leadership: May manage and develop a team of analysts. Coaching and mentoring associates to develop and retain talent at Capital One Product: Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products; lead product level modeling/analytics Marketing: Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products, and strategic intent for products distributed through various channels. Build targeted insights to inform design and development of new customer experiences and breakthrough technology and concepts for new go-to-market strategies Credit Risk: Drive improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses Execution: Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against product strategy. Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently Partnership: Work with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive quality, volume, service, and profitability Strategic & analytic orientation: Demonstrate decision making and problem solving based on analytics; strong quantitative orientation for analytic marketing and credit risk management Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: Tenacious decision maker with a responsible, proactive approach Solid people leadership experience: Build and leverage a high-performing team and cross-enterprise partnerships; foster innovation and drive decisions Strong executive communication skills: Written and oral communication with strategic influencing and negotiation capabilities Clear results orientation: Focused on achieving short and long-term goals and capable of driving an agenda in a dynamic environment Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; consulting experience is a plus Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering) At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis At least 1 year of experience in people management At least 1 year of experience in project management Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis 2+ years of experience in people management 2+ years of experience in product development 2+ years of experience in financial modeling 2+ years of experience in economic forecasting 2+ years of experience in project management Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Business Manager; Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Business Manager. Other locations pay ranges will follow local location ranges, reflected in the offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
