Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility, specializing in the production of vending machines. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining safety and quality standards, optimizing resource utilization, and leading a high-performing team to meet production targets. Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and coordinate all plant operations including production, assembly, quality assurance, maintenance, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Develop and execute production plans that align with company goals, customer orders, and inventory levels. Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), such as throughput, on-time delivery, first-pass yield, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Implement and maintain lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure minimal downtime. Manage plant budget, labor, materials, and overhead expenses. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff; ensure proper staffing levels to meet production goals. Coordinate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, HR, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of cross-functional initiatives. Lead by example in promoting a positive, respectful, and results-driven work environment.
