Global Product Manager - Vascular Access Technologies
The Global Product Manager, Vascular Access Technologies (VAT) is responsible for business performance and long-term portfolio health for their assigned product portfolio. This role serves as the marketing lead on new product development and sustaining engineering projects within the global VAT portfolio. This position will work in close partnership with commercial, R&D, operations, regulatory, quality, finance, and other functional teams across BD to ensure strong performance of their assigned product portfolio. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to advance prioritized projects in line with key business goals for revenue, profitability, and timing Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and clinical application in the vascular access space Define and lead required voice of customer / market insights work in support of portfolio objectives Leverage customer insights and functional input to develop project business cases and commercial plans to deliver above market growth Collaborate with global and regional commercial teams to ensure decisions are informed by the most relevant local market dynamics; communicate decisions, their implications, and required actions to local commercial teams in a clear and timely manner Clearly communicate commercial performance with high leadership stakeholders; provide recommendations strategic adjustments with a strong bias towards financial results, product quality, and customer impact Prepare and present general project and overall business updates to leadership as required Education And/ Or Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical Discipline required Minimum of 3 years product management experience required, 5+ years preferred Preferred: Medical device industry experience Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills Passion for challenging the status quo through technology or process disruption Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced, results oriented environment 25%+ global travel required Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
