We have acquired or developed approximately 11 gigawatts of contracted capacity across a portfolio of over 70 renewable energy projects in 24 states. What You'll Do
DESRI developers identify, manage, and implement early- and mid-stage renewable projects to mitigate risks to mature development, financing, construction, and long-term management. This includes identifying opportunities for new projects or investments in attractive markets, negotiating with real estate counterparties, identifying power marketing opportunities, and navigating interconnection and permitting issues. You’ll work with a team of developers in a dynamic and agile environment. Day-to-day activities include researching and communicating with counterparties—such as landowners, permitting authorities, engineering and design professionals, electric utilities, corporate off-takers, and others—to translate complex information into clear financial models while keeping projects on schedule and on budget. Qualifications
Three or more years of renewable energy development experience, with awareness of technical, commercial, regulatory, and operational issues. Intellectually curious with well-developed written and verbal communication skills, analytical acumen, and proven organizational abilities. Undergraduate or graduate degree in any field and a strong background of academic and professional achievement. The expected annual base salary for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus (guaranteed in the first year of hire) and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, wellness reimbursement, family-building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
