Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) (RN) is responsible for the nursing team and quality of patient service in the absence of the Director of Nursing. The ADON supervises, analyzes, delegates, and evaluates nursing activities to ensure patient comfort and care. We are a family of skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers. Help hire, train, teach, and monitor nurses. Manage clinical operations and develop care plans. Assist in budget preparation and expense management. Conduct patient rounds and address complaints. Train and educate staff. Assist in organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the facility. Qualifications
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia. Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facility. Infection Preventionist Certificate Preferred.
