Overview

The Sr. IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for solving highly complex system problems using SDLC methodology. This role leads the work direction of analysts and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with organizational objectives and acts as a bridge between the business systems analyst team, business stakeholders, development team, and management. The position partners with business, IT, and project stakeholders to elicit, define, and document requirements for changes to Prime's claims systems. This role is remote. Responsibilities

Ensure understanding of business requirements and IT Business Requirement Specification acceptance criteria before sign-off; identify and document the scope for assigned projects Provide leadership and act as a subject matter expert; mentor other Claims IT team members and cross-train BSAs Provide work plans and detailed estimates; manage scope, prioritize, and drive scope trade-off discussions with project teams; provide order-of-magnitude estimates for project intake Interview stakeholders to elicit and document highly complex business needs for modifications to Claims system applications; define functional, high-level, and detailed system requirements Engage in Claims systems solutioning discussions to ensure clear understanding of requirements and obtain sign-off from all impacted parties Lead solution design review discussions between IT and business requestors; participate with QA and UAT resources to review test cases and scenarios Lead highly complex projects with ambiguity, driving toward resolution Lead work direction of analysts and project stakeholders on large, high-visibility efforts; define components and phased execution plans; collaborate with business leaders on phased approaches When leading group projects, document feature-level scope, estimates, dependencies, priorities, and resource needs; coordinate with Resource Lead to assign work Educate and advance the business systems analyst practice within the Claims IT team and across the organization Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required 5 years of functional system requirements analysis experience Experience in Prime claims systems Eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications

Creative thinking; effective conflict management and consensus-building in change management Demonstrated effectiveness in dealing with ambiguity Self-directed, able to work with minimal supervision and provide direction to a team of analysts Willing to receive work direction from leadership Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills Preferred Qualifications

Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare experience with Medicare, Medicaid, Exchanges, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA and/or PCI) Understanding of security implications within the domain Proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Additional notes: All employees must understand and attest to security responsibilities and controls, comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies. Prime retains the right to change or assign duties to this job. The potential pay range is $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 based on experience and skills.
