Base pay range:
$77,293.00/yr - $127,754.00/yr
Class Description The purpose of this class is to provide leadership and oversee planning, direction, control, and evaluation of all work associated with the day-to-day operation of assigned College division or function.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in grounds maintenance, mail services, and facilities operations.
Proven landscaping, operational, and supervisory experience at a commercial or educational facility.
Valid driver’s license in good standing with violation points less than five (5).
Class Specific Essential Duties
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of assigned College division or function.
Plan, coordinate, and implement projects, programs, and initiatives.
Supervise, advise, and evaluate assigned staff.
Prepare, analyze, and provide reports on various subjects.
Serve as liaison between College departments, vendors, government agencies, and external organizations.
Manage operating budget for the division or function.
Position Specific Essential Duties
Act as the single point of contact for facility management issues on campus.
Conduct daily inspections, visit end users, and recommend improvements.
Oversee landscape maintenance, street cleaning, snow removal, and athletic field readiness.
Coordinate landscape projects, seeding, fertilization, pest control, and mowing schedules.
Direct equipment repairs and preventative maintenance programs.
Monitor industry trends and adopt technologies for landscaping efficiency.
Ensure staff training in work techniques and customer service.
Coordinate support services with campus providers.
Oversee mail operations.
Manage financial performance and monitor budgets.
Handle human resources management, evaluations, and recruitment.
Utilize CMMS for maintenance and response planning.
Administer campus fleet program and oversee preventative maintenance.
Be an essential employee for severe weather or campus events, with after-hours recall capability.
