This position is responsible for the administration and execution of assigned projects in a safe, profitable, and timely manner. It may involve participating in business development, estimating, bidding, and contract negotiation for projects of larger contract amounts and complexity. The role requires maintaining professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential duties and other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Manage the project team including procurement, administration, and daily operations. Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and at a profit. Determine resources needed and assign responsibilities to team members. Provide input and supervision for pre-construction services such as purchase orders, subcontracts, schedules, job cost setup, and pre-planning. Serve as liaison to initiate contact between clients, estimators, on-site superintendents, and others to facilitate construction activities and maintain customer satisfaction. Participate in project coordination meetings. Establish project objectives, policies, and procedures within contract guidelines. Ensure project documentation is completed timely and maintained in master project files. Contribute to a “Zero Accident Culture” by implementing site safety protocols and OSHA standards adherence. Coordinate with the project Superintendent to obtain necessary resources for staffing. Review change orders for accuracy. Adhere to insurance, labor relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), risk management, and quality control programs. Ensure site and company assets are secure and maintain a safe, respectful work environment. Direct and ensure timely completion of project close-out activities. Supervise small projects and assist with large projects as needed. Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Train employees, plan, assign, direct work, appraise performance, and address issues as needed. Position Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience. 5 to 8 years of self-performing project manager engineering experience in water and wastewater treatment, water conveyance, sewers and sewer rehabilitation. Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding standard practices in the design-build process and contracts. Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles. Knowledge of construction methods and materials, installation procedures, and tolerances. Strong computer skills and familiarity with software for job costing, scheduling, and estimating. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Licensed Professional Engineer (preferred) Competencies include:
