Job Overview TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets. The Global Product Manager will be responsible for high‑speed backplane connector products within the Converged Data Solutions product team. Global Product Managers act as a "mini" GM, driving the overall product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to achieve revenue and gross margin targets that enable long‑term competitiveness and success of the product line. This individual will develop and implement strategies for new business opportunities, including identifying growth opportunities within key existing accounts and developing relationships with emerging customers and market segments.

This role requires strong strategic thinking, experience working across regions, and a strong proactive work ethic. It requires close cross‑functional collaboration with colleagues in Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to align efforts and drive the successful execution of product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Articulate market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape

Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking

Develop product roadmaps that align with business strategy

Define resource requirements necessary to execute the product roadmap

Work cross‑functionally to define sales, technology, and operations strategy and goals, in line with financial goals

Plan product launches, including the development of marketing and sales plans

Be the opportunity champion for PAC projects

Build a strong connection with the target customer engineering team

Provide demand forecast inputs to S&OP and drive the needed capacity

Manage the P&L (sales and gross or standard margin) for the assigned portfolio

Track progress to the business plan and facilitate resolution of gaps

Qualifications

5+ years of product management, sales, business development, or other relevant experience

4‑year technical or business degree required, Engineering Degree preferred

High‑speed interconnect product or industry experience desired

Knowledge of high‑speed interconnect signal integrity and system architecture is highly desired

Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience preferred

Strong business acumen with an ability to understand technically complex concepts

Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of the product strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to execute

Proven ability to multitask and drive results in a dynamic, high‑paced environment

Strong interpersonal, planning, organization, and teamwork skills

Ability to influence cross‑functional teams both internally and externally

Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to foster understanding and acknowledgement of critical information both up and down the organization

Compensation

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $139,300 - $209,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity

Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
