Matrix Providers is hiring a

Nurse Practitioner (NP)

to join our team providing healthcare services to military service members and their families in Crescent City, CA.

Employment Status: PRN (1-2 times per month)

Compensation: Hourly, paid bi-weekly

Schedule: PRN (1-2 times per month)

Requirements:

Degree: Master's in nursing

Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by ACEN or CCNE

Certification: Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by ANCC, AANP, or other recognized certifying bodies

Experience: Meets clinical competency requirements per credentialing instructions

Licensure: Current, active, unrestricted RN license

Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nurse practitioner services, including screening, medical care, immunizations, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.

Supervise and educate staff, deliver evidence-based lectures, and participate in training.

Diagnose and treat common conditions within protocols and in consultation with physicians.

Promote preventive care and health maintenance through education and counseling.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.

Recognize infectious conditions requiring isolation and ensure safety protocols.

Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement activities.
