Location: Visalia Position: Regular, Full-time We are looking for a Lab Technician at 8020 West Doe Ave, Visalia, CA 93291. Your responsibilities will include preparing samples, maintaining documentation, and supporting analysis procedures. Main Activities

Read plates and tubes to determine the number of organisms Record findings on worksheets Write identification onto plates for tracking Pipette samples into tubes or plates Pour agar into plates or tubes Prepare samples by recording, weighing, and blending Incubate plates as required Prepare media and broth for testing Sterilize materials and autoclave plates Perform analysis tests like food poisoning and pH Maintain lab supplies and knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Set up equipment for analysis Support quality and continuous improvement processes Keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitized Participate in safety policies and housekeeping duties Support management system improvements Perform other related tasks as needed Your Profile

No previous lab experience required; full training provided 4-year science degree preferred Basic knowledge of lab science, computers, safety procedures, and planning skills Analytical skills, physical dexterity, and ability to detect color variations Work Environment & Compensation

Pay: $18.50 - $20.50/hour Schedule: 5-day work week, weekends required, 6am-2:30pm, with overtime Overtime: 10-15 hours/week at time and a half Why Join Us?
