Department: MRI Sign On Bonus: $15,000 paid in full on first paycheck Pay Range starts at: $32.48/hour; Daily pay available Shift Differentials: Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Requirements
Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program ARRT-MR credential or ARMRIT; ARRT-MR within 12 months of hire date MRI cross training can be provided Course tuition covered if full time Relocation assistance available for those who qualify Qualified external candidates only Job Summary
Operates a scanner to obtain images used to diagnose and treat pathologies. Primary Responsibilities
Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters to produce cross-sectional images of the body Performs patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination Enters and monitors patient data and transfers images Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, patient data/history) Ensures equipment is properly functioning; reports potential problems or equipment malfunctions Maintains a clean, orderly department including procedure rooms and storage areas Works in a constant state of alertness and safety Performs other duties as assigned Education

Constant standing and walking; frequent use of vision and depth perception Frequent hearing and speech for communication; alarms and equipment sounds Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling 0-25 lbs; frequent lifting/moving of patients Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling 25-50 lbs Occasional vision to identify colors; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, twisting Rare kneeling and sitting Work Location & Credentials
