Essential Functions

Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients\' internal structures. Prepares patients for MRI procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required. Monitors patients during MRI scans to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored. Maintains MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety. Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret MRI images and provide accurate diagnoses. Education Requirement

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required. Licensure Requirement

Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required. Certifications

Current CPR Certification, required. ARRT certification (MRI) within 1 year of employment, required. Skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience

Two years of clinical experience in the Radiologic Sciences, required. One year of experience in MRI procedures, preferred. Experience in pediatric setting, preferred. Physical Requirements

Occasionally: Electricity, flexing/extending of neck, lifting/carrying 61-100 lbs, pushing/pulling 100 lbs or greater with assistance, pushing/pulling 61-100 lbs; Frequently: biohazard waste, blood and/or bodily fluids, chemicals/medications, communicable diseases and/or pathogens, lifting/carrying 21-40 lbs, 41-60 lbs, loud noises, patient equipment, pushing/pulling 41-60 lbs, reaching above shoulder; Continuously: audible speech, bend/twist, color vision, computer skills, decision making, depth perception, hand use (grasping/gripping/turning), hearing acuity, interpreting data, lifting/carrying 0-10 lbs, 11-20 lbs, peripheral vision, problem solving, pushing/pulling 0-25 lbs, 26-40 lbs, repetitive hand/arm use, seeing far/near, sitting, squat/kneel, standing, walking. Additional Information

This position requires constant talking, hearing, standing, stooping, lifting, hand dexterity, bending, walking, and seeing to effectively perform varied MRI procedures. (100%). Essential Job Functions: Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk, speak, read and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation, and care for oneself with little or no difficulty. Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person(s) and/or equipment.
