Luminis Health Position Objective: Performs screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures in accordance with established ACR and FDA safety and quality standards and the special needs of patients. Responsibilities

Acquires mammographic images; verifies demographic and technical information in accordance with ACR guidelines, obtains required patient information regarding mammography history, checks technical quality of films. Completes procedures while maintaining quality of work within an established time frame. Assists during biopsy procedures: constantly assesses patient condition, administers first aid as required, assists physicians, provides post-biopsy care explanations to the patient. Provides radiation protection to all patients in compliance with prescribed safety standards; attends required radiation safety courses. Performs quality assurance testing on mammography equipment and maintains required records. Confers with supervisor to recommend changes, report problems, and provide feedback to improve patient care, technical quality, and clerical functions. Monitors supplies in the assigned work area and notifies supervisor when shortages occur. Demonstrates knowledge of Universal Manager/Epic processes. Other duties as assigned: entering mammographic data, biopsy results, pending studies and mammography letters. Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service as instructed in the ICARE service excellence framework. Educational/Experience Requirements

Successful completion of a two-year radiological technology program in an AMA-approved educational institution. Mammography registry required. Required Licenses/Certifications

Current Registry in specific Imaging Modality (ARRT or ARDMS) Licensed in the State of Maryland Maintains current license, CMEs American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Working Conditions
