Sales Account Manager - Pharma Ingredients (Biopharma & Nutraceutical Focus) at Univar Solutions. This role focuses on managing and growing strategic customer accounts within the Biopharma and Nutraceutical industries, building long-term, value-based relationships and driving growth while improving profitability and efficiency. What You’ll Do
Improve Univar’s position within each account by using consultative, value-driven selling strategies at all levels of the organization. Prospect for new business opportunities in the Biopharma and Nutraceutical segments to expand your territory footprint. Focus on customer retention and satisfaction by offering tailored solutions aligned with customers’ technical and commercial needs. Provide technical support and consultative services to customers in pharmaceutical, biopharma, and nutraceutical markets to enhance our value proposition. Maintain a clear and current view of your sales pipeline and use CRM tools to track progress. Set pricing and service levels, generate and manage quotations, and collaborate with local branches to ensure seamless execution. Partner closely with Local Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer demand. Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, both personally and by promoting a culture of safety among peers. What You’ll Need
Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in Pharma Ingredients (raw chemicals), ideally with a focus on Biopharma or Nutraceutical applications. Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical distribution, or industrial sales is preferred. Bachelor’s degree (in Chemistry, Technical Sciences, or a related field preferred but not required). Proven understanding of the regulatory, technical, and commercial landscape of the Biopharma and Nutraceutical sectors. Ability to nurture and expand a robust professional network within the life sciences market. Competitive drive with a problem-solving mindset and a consultative selling approach. Strong business acumen around the dynamics between manufacturers, distributors, and end-users of chemical products. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a focus on creating win-win outcomes. Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed. Where you’ll work
