Established multi-location, state-of-the-art private pediatric dental practice in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH is looking for a Pediatric Dentist.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pedodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating dental issues in infants, children, and adolescents. The Pedodontist will provide preventive and therapeutic dental care while ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our young patients.

Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat dental conditions in children from infancy through adolescence.

Provide preventive care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral health education.

Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and pulpotomies.

Administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, or general anesthesia as appropriate.

Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients’ guardians.

Counsel parents and caregivers on proper oral hygiene and diet for long-term dental health.

Manage dental emergencies and trauma cases in young patients.

Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

Work collaboratively with general dentists, orthodontists, and other healthcare professionals.

Participate in community outreach programs and school dental health initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.

Completion of a certified pediatric dentistry residency program.

Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) is preferred.

Valid state dental license and sedation certification (if applicable).

Proven experience or strong interest in treating pediatric patients.

Excellent communication skills and a child-friendly demeanor.
