The Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School is seeking a full-time radiologist. The primary responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic imaging in the chest, abdomen, and pelvis at a quaternary care center serving both inpatients and outpatients. Completion of a fellowship specializing in abdominal or chest imaging is strongly preferred. A commitment to providing high-quality clinical care is essential. Both clinically focused and academic track applicants will be considered. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will depend on qualifications and experience. The Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota is a leader in imaging, known for excellent healthcare services. Faculty are dedicated to clinical excellence and are encouraged to pursue education, quality improvement, and research. The department hosts a highly regarded ACGME-approved residency and numerous fellowship programs. It ranks in the top 20 NIH-funded research departments and houses the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, an internationally renowned ultrahigh field MRI center. Research interest is encouraged, with substantial resources available, though research is not a requirement for this position. Minimum requirements include an M.D. or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota, board certification or eligibility, and completion of ACGME-accredited radiology training. For academic applicants, evidence of scholarly research or education is required.
