Position Summary
Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Position Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or post-secondary educational program in health science. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Formal cardiovascular technology training MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year health care experience. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year in Cardiac Cath Lab REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: New employee is required to schedule exam and achieve pass rate within 1 year from date of hire as Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from accredited agency such as Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Incumbent employee hired after January 2015, without RCIS, is required to schedule exam and achieve pass rate within 6 months from date of notification of change in requirements. PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: NA Required Courses / Completions
Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role. Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
