Overview
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to provide in-person services to K-12 students. This contract position supports a diverse student population across multiple schools within the district, serving communities including Vacaville, Benicia, and Fairfield. Responsibilities
Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication needs. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address speech and language disorders. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations regarding special education services. Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and contribute to student success strategies. Qualifications
Valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings. Strong understanding of speech and language development as well as related disorders. Ability to work effectively in-person across multiple locations within the district. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for all students. Location
Location is based in Concord, CA, with service areas including Vacaville, Benicia, and Fairfield. Compensation and Benefits
