Responsibilities
The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Technologist will assist and guide patients through MRI scans.
Qualifications
Exceptional communication, technical and patient care skills
Aptitude toward the team philosophy
Team player
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of sterile technique
Education: Graduate of an accredited imaging program preferred
Licensure: MRI registered (or eligible as applicable)
Certifications/Licensure
For MRI registered: One of the following certifications/licenses is required: ARMRIT, CAMRT, or ARRT (MR)
For MRI non-registered: Required certifications/licenses include Radiologic Technologist by the State of Indiana and ARRT(R) Registry, or Radiology Student Permit by the State of Indiana and ARRT registry eligibility. ARRT(R) registry and Radiologic Technologist License by the State of Indiana must be obtained within one year of hire.
