Clinical Pediatric Geneticist . The Section provides clinical genetics services at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and outreach clinics at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. Qualified candidates must have completed an approved clinical genetics fellowship and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric/Clinical Genetics and/or Metabolic Genetics by the American College of Medical Genetics, and be willing to travel to outreach clinics as needed. Candidates will participate in inpatient and outpatient pediatric genetics services including direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents. A strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and clinical medicine is required. The successful candidate will join one other experienced pediatric geneticist in a team that includes three pediatric genetic counselors and a genetic counseling assistant, among other colleagues.

Serve as a Rush University Medical Center School of Medicine faculty member with competence in patient care and teaching. Clinical research opportunities are available. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of professionals in a university center. Service general and subspecialty clinics. Salary and academic rank to be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required Eligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of Illinois required

Rush offers competitive total compensation, including base pay, benefits, and incentive programs for employees. Pay Range: $195,000 - $285,000 for a full-time, 1.0 FTE role, with potential for sign-on/retention bonuses and relocation allowances.
