Overview
Under the supervision of the FNE/SANE Supervisor and Sexual Assault Clinic Medical Director, with orders when necessary from the Emergency Department Provider, the Forensic Nurse Examiner follows protocols to provide independent, comprehensive care to adults and adolescents presenting to the Emergency Department with a complaint of acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation. Provide independent, comprehensive care in the Emergency Department to adults and adolescents presenting with acute sexual assault and/or non-fatal strangulation, following established protocols. Collaborate with the FNE/SANE Supervisor, Sexual Assault Clinic Medical Director, and Emergency Department Provider to ensure appropriate orders and care plans. Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. 1 year of Nursing experience. Benefits
