Responsibilities and Duties

Perform autopsies and medical examinations on deceased patients

Evaluate cases including homicides, suicides, car crashes, natural cause deaths, and accidental fatalities such as slip and fall

Document findings in accordance with standard forensic protocols

Prepare and present reports as required

Qualifications

Must have forensic pathology experience; fellowship training preferred

Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Louisiana
