Business Development Representative (BDR)

will play a critical role in expanding our referral network, increasing brand awareness, and driving patient volume through strategic outreach across multiple locations and digital platforms. The BDR will engage local communities, healthcare providers, and virtual care stakeholders to support the continued growth of both physical clinic sites and telehealth services. Key Responsibilities: Referral & Network Development: Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral partners including primary care physicians, hospitals, schools, community mental health organizations, and other healthcare providers. Promote both in-person and telehealth service lines, tailoring outreach to urban, suburban, and rural markets. Design and implement outreach strategies tailored to the unique needs and demographics of each clinic location. Coordinate closely with site managers and clinical directors to understand capacity, specialty offerings, and local market opportunities. Identify and develop partnerships that benefit from remote behavioral health services, such as school districts, rural health clinics, employers, and insurance networks. Educate referral sources on telehealth capabilities, access logistics, and patient onboarding processes. Represent the practice at professional networking events, health fairs, provider luncheons, and community programs across all clinic service areas. Organize webinars and virtual information sessions to promote telehealth offerings. Work with the marketing team to align messaging and collateral with business development efforts. Contribute to digital marketing efforts including social media, newsletters, and email campaigns targeting referral partners. Analytics & Reporting: Track outreach efforts, referral volume, and conversion rates using CRM and reporting tools. Provide regular updates to leadership on market performance, emerging trends, and growth opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Health, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of business development, sales, or healthcare marketing experience, preferably in behavioral health or outpatient care preferred. Demonstrated understanding of behavioral health services, including mental health, substance use, and telehealth models. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders and geographies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Willingness to travel regularly to clinic locations and community sites (typically within [region/state]). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Experience: Experience promoting telehealth or hybrid care models. Familiarity with regional referral trends, managed care organizations, and value-based care partnerships. Prior success working in a multi-location healthcare or mental health organization.
