Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) deliver rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This 13-week travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic ED, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide patient-centered care in critical situations. Required Qualifications
One year of recent experience as an ER RN Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification Preferred Qualifications
TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position Essential Responsibilities
Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families Administer prescribed medications and treatments per emergency nursing protocols Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments and examinations Monitor patient comfort and safety; respond to immediate needs Document patient conditions and nursing actions in EMR Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Required Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication Proficiency in English (reading and writing) Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; PC skills Physical ability to move and assist with equipment (50-100 lbs) Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and stakeholders Ability to use clinical reasoning under pressure Visual acuity and effective communication skills Benefits Include
