Mental Health Counselor – Adult Psych PT Days MetroWest Medical Center

Join as a Mental Health Counselor on a part‑time, two‑day schedule. You will provide therapeutic services, monitor services, and support community‑based, person‑centered care in a supportive environment.

Onboarding Process

Complete a background check and pre‑employment health screening that includes a drug screen.

Obtain proof of full vaccination or submit a religious or medical exemption; if exempt, submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.

Responsibilities

Monitor services and deliver community support and therapeutic services.

Apply basic knowledge of diagnostic characteristics, symptomology of primary mental illness, and medication side effects and benefits to provide services in a person‑centered, supportive, community‑based environment.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Experience:

New graduates must have supervised‑post graduate counseling experience (internship) with specified direct client contact under the supervision of a board‑approved supervisor. Otherwise, at least 1 year of experience.
