$28.00/hr - $28.00/hr Job Summary As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team. CNAs are essential in ensuring patients' comfort, safety, and well-being during their hospital stay. Patient Care: Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting. Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate. Mobility Support: Assist patients with mobility and ambulation, ensuring they are safe and comfortable. Use appropriate assistive devices when necessary. Patient Comfort: Ensure patients' physical and emotional comfort by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked patient environment. Respond promptly to patient requests and address their concerns with empathy and professionalism. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and vital signs in electronic health records (EHR). Infection Control: Follow established infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques when providing patient care. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Communication: Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, and other support staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients. Report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff promptly. Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with information and support related to their care plan, as directed by healthcare professionals. Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and colleagues. Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant in an acute care setting. Current state CNA certification and in good standing. American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care. Ability to attend 2 full days of Orientation held every Monday for 12 hours Ability to work at minimum 4 shifts within 90 days after completion of Orientation Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
