Facility in Ashland, Oregon Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Ashland, Oregon. Required Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications

Current ARRT Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Summary

The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients\u2019 bodies for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients for the procedure, position patients with safety and image accuracy in mind, ensure proper imaging protocols, and work with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure while providing compassionate care throughout the imaging process. Essential Work Functions

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various facilities Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice Required Essential Skills

Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, move equipment, push, pull, and bend Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel Technical/motor skills to assist with procedures and use department equipment Mental ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; may require working with irregular schedules Visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively Benefits Include
