WCS Healthcare Partners is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a 13‑week, 26‑week and long‑term temp contract assignments at a Prestigious Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Pay Range Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $65.00/hr
Job Function
Night Shift 3x12: 7pm-7am
Classify patients appropriately
Apply external fetal monitor, interpret fetal heart tracing and uterine activity
Implement interventions based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor
Identify emergency situations, observe and notify provider accordingly
Screen patients for pain during initial assessment and reassess according to guidelines
Job Requirements
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a BSN
Current RN license for the state of Connecticut
2+ years of acute care experience in this specialty
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
Fetal Monitoring Certificate Preferred
EPIC Experience Required
