Overview
The Clinical Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to all patients consistent with the goals and objectives of the hospital and the pharmacy department. The pharmacist reviews drug orders to judge appropriateness (drug, dose, frequency, etc.). Drug-related problems, such as potential allergic reactions and drug interactions, must be identified and resolved. The pharmacist oversees the activities of supportive personnel and focuses their knowledge and experience on assessing and improving patient care. They must be cognizant of medication-related patient safety risks and resolve or escalate identified problems in a timely manner. Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Contributes to the quality and effective operation of the department. Maintains competence required for current job title/position. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school; experience level varies by position (on-the-job training available). Licensed Pharmacist - MO (or eligibility to obtain MO license within 90 days). PHARM LIC MO; KS licensure may be required if primary work location is in Kansas (within 90 days). Specialty Certification preferred upon hire. Benefits

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $57.81/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work
