Walk-In Clinic (1st Care) Nurse Practitioner at Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks, Alaska. Tanana Valley Clinic 1st Care is an ED-light clinic seeking an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join a highly experienced and growing team. The Opportunity
Tanana Valley Clinic 1st Care is an ED-light clinic that manages orthopedic injuries, minor traumas, acute and chronic illnesses, and pediatric complaints. Our team provides advanced diagnostics through our on-site lab and radiology, with efficient access to an advanced imaging center. As the go-to community provider for walk-in care, you can expect daily clinical variety and new challenges. Responsibilities
Provide advanced practice care for patients across ages (2 days to 99 years) in a walk-in setting, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up planning within the scope of practice as a Family NP/PA. Utilize on-site diagnostics (lab, radiology) and access to an advanced imaging center to support patient care. Collaborate with a team of 11 providers in a collegial and autonomous environment. Qualifications
Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing. Must be approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license/certification. Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires a personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills. Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: Base salary $135,000 with anticipated production pay of $110,000–$123,200, for an estimated total annual compensation between $245,164 and $258,364. A $40,000 sign-on bonus is included. Benefits: Full employee benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k). Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (156 shifts per year). No on-call duties. 7 weeks of annual leave (ATO) and 2 weeks for CME. Patients: Average of 30 patients per day, ages 2 days to 99 years. Team: 11 providers who work independently in a collegial and collaborative environment. About Foundation Health Partners
