We are seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist to provide magnetic resonance imaging services to patients in a compassionate and respectful manner. This is a full-time position. MRI Technologist duties include but are not limited to: Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment Obtain high-quality MR images ensuring optimal images for interpretation Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting appropriate technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and prepare and administer contrast material as needed Prepare, transfer and position patients, ensuring modesty and safety Document pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete required MEDITECH fields accurately and on time Maintain proactive communication with patients and other caregivers, including the radiologist Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination Keep rooms stocked with necessary supplies Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed Qualifications
Graduate of a 2-year Radiologic Technology program at an AMA-approved school 1-3 years MRI Technologist experience Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) credentials Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions Benefits
