Salary:
$800 / Week
Position: Sterile Processing Technician The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontamination, assembly of linen packs, operation of steam, ETO, and other sterilization methods. The technician maintains adequate inventory for assembly of instruments and equipment and performs multiple tasks that support the daily operations of all units, as well as providing customer service.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification as required by state regulations or contract specifications
Certification for sterile processing technicians by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) may be required
One (1) year of experience in sterile processing preferred
Current CPR certification if applicable
TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
