About This Opportunity
Joining our Natural Sciences team, the Physics Laboratory Instructor will be responsible for teaching PHY 201L (General Physics I laboratory), a 1-credit-hour course focusing on scientific reasoning, experimental design, velocity, acceleration, forces, and vectors. Experience with active learning in online and face-to-face settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and administration. Commitment to working with diverse populations. Effective teaching skills. Compensation: $1025 per class taught. This is a part-time, in-person position for the fall semester, teaching a 2-contact-hour, 1-credit-hour laboratory, with the possibility of teaching multiple sections.
