is a fast-paced, multi-specialty Surgery Center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. No call, weekends or holidays! We are looking for a top performer with solid knowledge of Pre-operative and PACU/Recovery Nursing. This environment is fast-paced and driven to reach the highest quality and satisfaction outcomes in Colorado Springs. Current Colorado Nursing License Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Minimum 2-year experience in a hospital setting Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and the public Excellent communication and organizational skills Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptiveness to change, creativity, and innovation Ability to adapt to change quickly, with a strong knowledge base of surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics Excellent teaching skills Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideology USPI complies with laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If required, you must show proof of vaccination or obtain an exemption prior to start. Exemptions require regular testing. Required Experience: Experience working in an ASC is a plus Must be team-oriented and patient-focused Seniority level
