White Deer Run Treatment Network is Pennsylvania’s premier provider of comprehensive addiction treatment services for adult men and women ages 18 and above with detoxification, residential rehab, partial hospitalization, outpatient care, and medication-assisted treatment options. The White Deer Run Treatment Network includes 7 centers throughout Pennsylvania offering services for chemical dependency and certain co-occurring mental health conditions. Role
Family Nurse Practitioner
– Full Time – White Deer Run, Allenwood, PA Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. Participate in the formulation of the patient Master Treatment Plan. Assess physical and psychiatric health of patients and formulate measures to meet patient needs. Document clinical observations, evaluations and treatments within required timeframes according to facility guidelines. Communicate with physicians and other staff to provide quality care within appropriate guidelines. Encourage family involvement in patient care and respond to identified educational needs. Support and follow legal requirements, hospital policy and procedures, medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements. Provide services in accordance with state Nurse Practitioner guidelines. Provide on-call responsibilities on a scheduled basis as directed by medical staff. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform or interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, x-rays) and prescribe medications. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude; prioritize patient safety and address complaints promptly. Qualifications
Master's in Nursing; Nurse Practitioner program required. Clinical experience with the facility’s patient population; knowledge of limit setting, therapeutic boundaries, crisis management, therapeutic treatment, environment and patient care required. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Practicing Nurse Practitioner preferred. Licenses & Certifications
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner required. Licensed to practice in the state where the facility operates. DEA license. About Acadia Healthcare
