CT Technologist
Job Summary and Responsibilities
Full‑time opportunity with up to a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and educational assistance available for external candidates.
Additional night and weekend pay. Great opportunities to cross‑train modalities and learn new skills while growing in current skills.
Perform quality assessment of images, evaluate equipment and report to management.
Ensure proper equipment, correct technical factors, procedure protocols are present and functioning.
Access patient and participate in procedures.
Ensure all equipment is in working order at the beginning of the day and prior to starting of a procedure.
Requirements Education
Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
Licenses and Requirements
ARRT Board Certified in Radiology.
Valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to practice in Nebraska or Iowa (depending on work state).
ARRT Board Certified in CT within 2 years of hire.
BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understands methods and capable of performing venipuncture as required.
Demonstrated ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion.
Self‑motivated and able to take ownership of projects/assignments.
Team player with excellent customer service skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills.
Where You’ll Work At CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy. Focus is patient‑centered care. Level I trauma center and academic medical center designed to heal the body, mind, and spirit of every person in a more comfortable, less stressful hospital environment. Full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging.
Pay Range $29.36 – $43.68 per hour.
