Franciscan Medical Group, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking a full-time Clinic Medical Assistant for the Franciscan Endocrine Associates Clinic in Tacoma, WA. The role involves working with 6 Endocrinologists and 1 ARNP, providing a valuable learning experience in a busy clinic environment. The position offers competitive pay, a great schedule, and locations including Tacoma, Bonney Lake, Gig Harbor, and Federal Way. No weekends or organization-recognized holidays are required, and free parking is provided. About Your Position

As a Medical Assistant, you will work as part of a care team to support patient care under the supervision of a physician or mid-level provider. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting and preparing patients for their visits, recording vital signs, allergies, medications, and presenting issues Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures such as blood draws, skin tests, and injections Administering medications and vaccinations Managing patient flow and providing patient and family education Preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment and clinical areas Scheduling appointments and handling administrative tasks Participating in continuing education, meetings, and committees Potentially performing medical scribe duties under supervision in accordance with FMG policies Qualifications

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program Preferred: One year of Medical Assistant experience Licensure/Certifications: Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified license Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification #HelloMedicalAssistants #MISSIONCRITICAL Overview
