This position will require on-site major supplier surveillance. The employee will be responsible for the quality of the products provided by the supplier. Responsible for Supplier Quality risk management, developing and implementing supplier quality evaluation and control systems. Assures supplier process and product quality, including contractual, regulatory, and technical compliance. Interfaces directly with supplier personnel and must be knowledgeable in and capable of assessing both supplier quality and manufacturing processes and procedures. Conducts product and process verification activities, monitors supplier quality performance, and drives root cause corrective action analysis for supplier quality issues. Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations and discrepancy reporting process. Keeps management apprised of supplier performance, quality status, and risks. Coordinates and oversees Supplier Quality plan implementation through all program phases. Actively engages in supplier evaluation, qualification and selection as part of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) and as new procurements are required on existing programs. Benefits

The position follows a 9/80A work schedule: nine-hour days Monday through Thursday with every other Friday off. Basic Qualifications
Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer: Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 2+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree and 0 years experience. Principal Supplier Mission Assurance Engineer: Bachelor's degree in STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 1 year experience. Experience developing, planning, and implementing quality methods and strategies for procured items to assure the design, procurement, acceptance, and use of procured items. Experience interfacing with suppliers, customers, work teams, and/or management. Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 requirements. Must be able to travel up to 25-50% of the time. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government DoD security clearance. Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing/engineering experience. Ability to apply problem solving/critical thinking skills to support and resolve issues at the supply base. Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001 requirements and lead auditor experience. Extensive experience working with aerospace/defense industry suppliers onsite. General experience with special processes. Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action. Six Sigma or Lean certifications. Salary & Remarks
Primary Level Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $105,400.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00 The above salary ranges are guidelines; base salary offers consider scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may be available for certain roles.
